How a project starts: from “Got a project in mind?” to delivered swag
One short intake form qualifies a lead in under a minute, and a four-step flow takes it from budget to fulfillment with a person and software at every step.
Every route on the site ends at the same place: Start a Project. The form asks only what the team needs to quote: name, work email, phone, what the buyer is looking for (holiday gifts, employee swag, event swag, client gifts, rebrand swag, brand merch, warehousing, swag software or full service), the number of units, a total budget band, the in-hands date and whether shipping is mainly in the US.
Those answers route the lead to a dedicated Customer Success Manager, who then runs the four steps the homepage promises. Product's job was to keep this path short, make every answer useful downstream, and make sure the software picked up where the intake left off.
- 01 · Budget and quantity: the buyer shares goals, a logo or a design concept, and either connects their own designers or uses Gemnote's creative team.
- 02 · Pick products: white-label or customised merch and packaging, curated from suppliers like Nike, Patagonia and Baggu to fit brand and budget.
- 03 · Approve for production: digital proofs for review and final tweaks before anything is made.
- 04 · Delivery and fulfillment: Direct Ship, Drop Ship or Store & Ship, with kitting and warehousing until it is time to send.
- Qualified at the door: budget bands and unit ranges replace open text, so every lead arrives ready to quote.
